Toland Kister, Educator, has earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Animal Studies from New York University. During his time at NYU, he experienced many opportunities to study New York City’s urban environment as well as ecosystems in his home state of Pennsylvania. In the spring of 2016, he participated in The River Project’s Marine Biology Internship Program, returning the following fall and spring as a part time Educator.
Toland was hired as a full time Educator in October, 2017. He is excited to continue to support research and restoration in the Hudson River Estuary through environmental science education.
