Support The River Project
Contributions from people like you are an important part of The River Project’s past and future success. We will put your money to work where it is needed most. To give you an idea, your contribution of:
$60 feeds the fish in our aquarium system for one month;
$85 buys us three traps for our fish ecology survey;
$100 covers the supplies for Hudson River Snapshot Day;
$250 pays for 25 kids to have a hands-on field trip at The River Project;
$500 covers supplies and oysters for two oyster gardening groups;
$1000 makes it possible for two interns to do research projects at The River Project full-time for the entire summer;

This program, in collaboration with NY/NJ Baykeeper and the New York Harbor School, seeks to increase stewardship among residents of the New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary by working with volunteers from schools and community organizations in New York City to help prepare an oyster reef off the Tribeca waterfront. The project builds on the results of NY/NJ Baykeeper oyster reef restoration in New Jersey and research conducted by The River Project at its Pier 26 field station in New York (see Oyster Restoration). Please contact us if you are interested in participating. To get involved, please contact Nina Zain, Head of Interns, at The River Project at 212-233-3030 or email@example.com.
