Melissa Rex

Melissa Rex, Educator, is a Brooklyn native with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yeshiva University Stern College for Women. Throughout her undergraduate career, Melissa conducted several research projects, including a study at the College of Charleston on the presence and impacts of environmental endocrine disruptors entering Charleston Harbor via wastewater. She is interested in marine ecology and specifically microbiology. Melissa became Educator at The River Project in January of 2016, following internships in the Marine Biology Internship Program in Fall 2014 and Summer 2015.
